The process that makes all this possible starts here at Minnesota Ore Operations in the Minntac and Keetac Facilities.We are seeking a PROCESS MANAGER/PROCESS ENGINEER atMinnesota Ore Operations. This position is an opportunity to apply your analytical, collaboration, and communication skills to drive improvements across our processing operations. You will exercise your abilities and creativity to help solve today’s challenges around operating efficiency, emerging digital technologies, and sustainability.This position reports directly to the Sr. Area Manager - Operational Excellence.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Daily process monitoring, hands-on troubleshooting and collaboration with operating team
- Reviewing key performance indicators associated with the assigned area to provide technical guidance on operating and maintenance practices to support productivity, efficiency and quality
- Implementing projects to improve the competitiveness of the operation while establishing and managing project milestones and resource requirements
- Utilizing data to assist with business planning and forecasting
- Driving culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices via the use of Lean Six Sigma and other problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary groups to drive results
- Possess excellent computer, communication and writing skills, as well as an interest in hands-on assignments in a manufacturing environment
- Capability to analyze, interpret and communicate process data
- Understanding of experimental design and analysis to test hypotheses
- Ability to apply statistical methods and analysis to data
- Understanding that safety as a core value in all aspects of work
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Minerals Processing Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or related scientific field
- This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing

- Previous work experience in the fields of minerals processing or a similar manufacturing/processing environment
- Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification
The base salary of $67,588 to $101,382 is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
