Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Utilize process mapping and data analysis to identify bottlenecks, defects, and waste, and propose strategies to eliminate or reduce them.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize process workflows and reduce variation.
• Conduct feasibility studies for process changes and new equipment installations, evaluating the impact on production timelines and costs.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, to ensure consistent and repeatable processes.
• Train and mentor production personnel on new processes and equipment, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics, generating reports to track process performance, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
• Collaborate with the materials management team to optimize materials flow and inventory management within the production processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO certification standards and quality management requirements related to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in process engineering are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis software for identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute process improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present process improvement recommendations.
• Familiarity with ISO certification standards and quality management systems is advantageous.
• Minimum experience required 2-4 years

Pay Range:USD $80,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.EEOC:
