Pay Range: $85K to $125K

Role Overview:

The Process Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to produce high-quality injection-molded products. You will work closely with molding personnel to improve processes, resolve issues, and ensure production efficiency through scientific molding principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and optimize new and existing injection molding processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve mold and process-related issues, using scientific molding principles.
Collaborate on tooling and process validations, including root cause analysis.
Monitor, validate, and periodically review process parameters for all jobs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in molding, assembly, and tooling.
Create and complete documentation for procedures, validation protocols, and engineering reports.
Mentor and coach technicians and operators on best practices in molding processes.
Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and GMP standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5–10 years of experience in plastic injection molding, including mold and process validation.
Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Comfortable with a 70% floor, 30% desk split; motivated to work daily in a hands-on capacity.
Proficient in writing and finalizing procedures, validation protocols, validation reports, and engineering reports.
Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying production issues and applying scientific principles to implement long-term solutions.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $125,000 annually.
