Responsibilities:Overview: Support daily production with process or quality issues, providing quick response and presence on the shop floor
Responsibilities:
- Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Monitor, support and improve production yield rates in accordance with company targets.
- Audit, maintain and improve existing processes, identifying issues and proposing corrective actions with respective implementation, while expressing a good problem solving capability.
- Develop and qualify new products and processes, manage projects with proper documentation and consistent monitoring while following IDEMIA routine and “IWay” standards.
- Define and measure manufacturing capabilities and capacities of all processes under engineering control to provide data to planning and scheduling teams.
- Assist in designing industrialization plans for new products, processes or equipment following the industrial qualification procedure in relation to Company Quality Assurance standards
- Monitor the industrialization of CNC engraving and singulation processes, support production on CNC equipment
- Investigate customer complaints with Quality Assurance, Production and Customer Services and make containment and improvement recommendations with a continuous improvement approach
- Lead small projects and small teams to perform a process improvement or problem solving activity, or to complete successfully a qualification
- Present the status of his activities and project to the management via regular written reports or oral presentations
- Bachelor degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university with emphasis in Mechanical, industrial or chemical Engineering.
- Possess solid understanding of engineering principles including developing, qualifying and implementing new production processes within a manufacturing environment.
- 1-2 years of experience with CNC programming and manufacturing
- Knowledge of G-Code programming
- Excellent time management, communications, presentation and organization skills.
- Experience with new products development, qualification and introduction.
- Strong experience in root cause analysis, problem solving using different methodologies (8D, 6 Sigma, QRQC…).
- Proficient in Microsoft applications to include Excel and Pivot tables.
