Position Overview:
We are seeking a Process Engineer/Technical Services Manager to lead efforts in improving coating performance, quality, and cost while supporting new product development and troubleshooting processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in materials science and coatings, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes and tools to enhance coating performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead or support new product trials, launches, and product development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve coating process issues to ensure quality and compliance.
- Oversee lab activities, calibration, and quality control testing.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Analyze and report production quality data and non-conformance issues.
- Lead training efforts for production teams on quality control best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in coatings, materials science, or manufacturing, with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and quality assurance practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.
