Job Description (Visible to Supplier):
Process Development Engineer (junior), Supplement Product Development
Responsible for developing rugged and qualified process instructions for new nutritional supplement products.
Close coordination with formulation scientist.
Responsible for scale-up and coordination of pilot trials batches.
Responsible for technical transfer to full-size plant trials and development of qualification/validation plan.
Develops technical implementation timelines and communicates milestone progress and technical results to Project Manager, Technical Project Leader and rest of project team.
Desired Qualifications:
BS in Chemical Engineering or related technical field. MS preferred.
2+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, nutrition, food or related process industry
1-year minimum experience in solid-dose process development and engineering
Effective communication skills.
Previous nutrition experience strongly desired.
