Process Control Engineer at Cleveland Cliffs

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Process Control Engineer at our Dearborn Works operation. The Process Control Engineer will utilize their programming knowledge to support various steel making and finishing operations at the Dearborn Works operation.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• IT in a process manufacturing environment, including automation, control and systems integration.
• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software systems, hardware servers, devices and network switches.
• Maintaining and improving level I computer systems.
• Mill support for PLC software development.
• Support HMI development.
• Support signal processing.
• Data/Failure analysis.
• System commissioning.
• Model development and support. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of PLC logic required.  Prefer Siemens Simatic Manager.
• Willingness to learn processes and new technology.
