PRN Weekend Respiratory Therapist. - St. James Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

We are seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing facility, covering Saturdays and Sundays. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with the geriatric population and must hold a valid license in the state of practice. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and implementing respiratory techniques for patients with various respiratory illnesses.
• Initiating therapies, maintaining patient records, and operating necessary equipment.
• Providing bedside treatments and conducting quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Completing documentation and attending interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in long-term care settings is preferred.

Qualifications include a COARC accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, RRT or CRT licensure, and BLS certification. Salary ranges from $48 to $52 per hour. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
