PRN Weekend Respiratory Therapist. - Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

We are seeking a full-time, motivated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with the geriatric population, possess a valid state license, and be capable of independent evaluation and treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and implement respiratory techniques for various illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, and operate necessary equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and conduct quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Complete required documentation and attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT and BLS certified.

Schedule: Weekend coverage for 4-8 hours every Saturday and Sunday.
Salary: $45 - $55 per hour.
