PRN Registered Nurse
Pay: $33 to $36 per hour, based on experience
Location: Lake Ozark, Missouri
Shift: Weekdays 7:00am AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00pm to 7:00am, as needed. Weekends off!
Are you ready to create joy and heal generations? Calo Programs in Lake Ozark, MO is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to provide exceptional care to our students!
At our long-term residential center, you'll be the compassionate first responder when a teen reports pain or sickness, assessing their needs and determining the best care plan. Your day will include checking vital signs, distributing medications, and keeping meticulous records. Whether accompanying a student to the clinic, communicating with parents, or coordinating lab draws, you'll be their advocate, creating a safe and healing environment. Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference in their lives and to create joy and heal generations.
- Assess and respond promptly to students' reports of pain or sickness, employing strong clinical judgment in a unique residential setting.
- Provide comprehensive medical care, including responding to emergencies, administering medications, and conducting thorough health assessments for students ages 9-20.
- Accompany students to medical appointments; track vital signs, correlate lab draws, manage medications, and maintain accurate records with attention to detail.
- Monitor and chart students' mood, behavior, and affect while ensuring effective communication with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Communicate medical updates to the Treatment Team; maintain confidentiality and participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 support, ensuring continuity of care.
- Active RN licensure in Missouri.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certification in pediatric care preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record; Minimum age of 21.
- Proficiency with nursing tools and equipment, vital sign monitoring, and basic computer skills.
- Experience with adolescents is a plus but not required; strong interpersonal skills are essential.
