PRN Cardiac Sonographer - (230006IN)

 This position serves as a registry eligible sonographer in the echocardiography laboratory and at the cardiology satellite offices. The Cardiac Sonographer will be trained and must be willing to learn all aspects of an echocardiographic exam, have a basic knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment and perform other duties as assigned. The Cardiac Sonographer contributes skills to assist with an efficient operation of the department. RDCS or RCS within 1 year of graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Technology Program or RDCS or RCS within two years from the start date of cross-training in echocardiography or working to fulfill clinical experience pre-requisites for a credentialing examination. Basic knowledge of cardiac pathology. Basic knowledge of fundamentals of echocardiography. 

 High School Equivalent / GED Grad of approved Cardiovascular Technology Prog or Sonography Prog w/ echocardiography cross-training. RDCS or RCS w/in req timeframe. BLS cert req.
