Is a Dallas-based multimillion-dollar alternative investment manager, operating specifically as a private equity firm focused on the North American lower middle market. Invests primarily as an equity co- investor in LBO transactions across a variety of industries including consumer, industrials, and healthcare, among others, often through partnerships with top-tier managers, and also invests in select private equity buyout funds.

Job Description

Candidate will report to both Partners and Associates on the Private Equity team and will be expected to perform the following functions:

• Conduct research on companies in various industries and subsectors, financial analysis, strategy assessments, risk analysis, and other due diligence;

• Perform valuation analyses and financial modeling including DCF, LBO, comparable company, and comparable transaction analyses;

• Prepare written summaries, presentation materials, and investment memoranda for the investment team and investment committee;

• Assist in the investment execution process including managing correspondence with industry experts, management teams, and investment partners;

• Monitor existing portfolio investments and develop investment performance reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• 1-2 years of Finance-related experience (e.g., investments, valuation, consulting, research, etc.) ❖ Strong research and analytical skills
• Highly motivated and proactive individual
• Good listening ability and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
