Are you a skilled professional with expertise in large format printing? ARC Document Solutions in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a dedicated Large Format Print Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of producing high-quality prints that meet and exceed client specifications. In this role you will:

• Review Work Orders: Assess specifications for cutting or printing processes, including material details, dimensions, and tool specifications.

• File Management: Load and match cut or print files, ensuring accuracy and visibility of registration dots.

• Material Handling: Load materials onto cutting beds or printers, verifying correct settings and inspecting for defects.

• Equipment Setup: Set up machines for cutting or printing, inputting values such as tool bits, feed rates, and cutting depths.

• Routing/Cutting Operations: Program routers, change tool bits, and adjust settings for optimal cutting performance.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct test cuts or small print samples, making adjustments as needed to ensure top-notch quality.

• Equipment Monitoring: Monitor equipment throughout the job, ensuring proper functionality, and addressing malfunctions promptly.

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts as necessary.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and departments to foster cooperation and ensure timely delivery of prints.

• Quality Checks: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products, deburring, and cleaning items as required.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate quantity counts and work order documentation.

• Production Flow: Advance cut or printed products to the next station in the production process.

• Cleanliness and Waste Management: Clean and vacuum cutting or printing equipment after each use, managing waste responsibly.

• Material Reuse: Store unused materials in designated areas for reuse.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Large Format Print Operator or similar role.

• Proficient in handling routing/cutting equipment, flatbed printers, and roll-to-roll printers.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality prints.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Work Hours:

Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm

Pay Range:

$18 - $20 per hour
