What you’ll do:Create and refine high performance mobile apps that push the limits of mobile technologyBuild fun, new products that are very stable and run smoothlyDesign, architect and implement well-tested Objective-C software which powers experiences in Snapchat’s camera capture and playback experience Conceptualize, develop, and launch new featuresCarefully evaluate the technical tradeoffs of every decisionWork with the Design team to hone in on the best UI and infrastructure practicesCarry out code reviews to guarantee code qualityKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proven understanding of Objective-C Runtime and processes which run “under the hood”Knowledge of the OS internals, compilers, optimization for low-power and mobile systemsProficiency with multithreading and performance optimization techniques for iOSStrong CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures) and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of software design patterns and iOS best practicesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent years of experience14+ years of experience in developing mobile applications for the iOS environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Objective-C and iOSExperience with SwiftExperience with AVFoundation, VideoToolBox & Core Media FrameworksExperience with C/C++Experience with OpenGL or MetalExperience with video codecs : HEVC, AV1 If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information."Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc.
