Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of build and deployment automation (CI/CD) in a SaaS environment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and implement automated deployments for application infrastructure and services.
- Assist with implementation of infrastructure and application monitoring.
- Assist with design and implementation of as-code frameworks to provide self-service to development teams.
- Assist with design and implementation of embedded security controls to promote DevSecOps process and culture.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7 years of DevOps/SRE focused agile software engineering experience supporting cloud application development.
- Experience managing AWS environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform, Ansible or similar.
- Experience of building and/or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Git, GitHub actions, Jenkins or similar.
- Practical experience of containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure and application management tools such as DataDog, NewRelic or similar.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Linux/Ubuntu.
- 5 years of experience with at least one coding language such as Bash, Ruby, Python.
- Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
