Your scope will include L1 architecture, optical system (hardware and software), and infrastructure to facilitate deployment automation and integration of optical technologies with other systems.You will be working with partners in the industry, including vendors, and technology leaders to push the boundary of optical technology.You will be partnering and supporting a number of peers across multiple areas: GNT (Technology development), GND (the Network Deployment team), NPD (the Network Planning and Design team), GSN (the Global Submarine Network team), and others.You will be contributing to the health and growth of the ONT team in cooperation with the ONT team manager.Google is an engineering company at heart.
