What You Will Do:
You will be supporting a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a
Principal Linux System Administrator. This Network Operations Center (NOC) position is responsible for monitoring the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) hosting equipment and services consisting of computers (server), networks, storage, and backup & archive, all in a fast-paced environment. Tasks include monitoring system dashboards for the status of services, creating Incidents in the Incident Management system, assigning Incidents to the appropriate Tier-2/Tier-3 assignment groups, assisting with troubleshooting services to restore Full Mission Capability, and/or coordinating with other service Providers when incidents span system boundaries. Additionally, the role entails investigating and rectifying procedural discrepancies as well as identifying areas of process improvement. This position will require to have in a technical operations environment and have experince with using ticketing systems
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
Must have experience in Linux
Must have Networking experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with virtual / cloud computing technologies such as Citrix, VMware, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with Windows
Experience with storage products from Oracle, EMC, Dell, Isilon, NetApp, DDN

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
