Job Description:Overall Purpose:Responsible for serving as the subject matter expert and lead consultant as a strategic HR partner with business leaders working across organizations and to provide consultation across a broad range of HR areas, including creating a skills-based hiring strategy.Key Roles and Responsibilities:To be the primary HR subject matter expert and trusted advisor to AT&T senior level business unit leaders.
Remains current on emerging talent trends and best industry practices.
Role is the experienced key point of contact with a history across multiple client groups (sales, non-sales, domestic, international, executive support, etc).
Responsible for delivering strategic Human Resources client services support to one or more officer direct report organizations or a combination thereof, with a focus on supporting Sr Level BU leaders.
Has the ability to heavily influence and develop strong working relationships at all levels of the business.
Contributes to and promotes industry-wide HR best practices throughout HR and client organizations.
Is the key consultant on the most complex global and organizational issues related to HR.
Confers advice and counsel in delivering HR services and receives escalations of complex tactical inquiries.
Conducts complex analysis of data and confers expertise relating to recommending solutions.
Analyzes and researches HR related data and/or practices on assigned projects.
Acts as a team lead or project manager for various HR initiatives in support of business unit and/or HR objectives and goals.
Drives toward common cross-business unit processes and solutions.
Provides general education to other HR managers and shares best practices and enterprise- wide perspective across organizations.
Supports one or more officer direct report organizations.
Leads in creating and/or directing processes and solutions to support HR objectives in partnership with business unit.
Confers expertise in ownership and development of planning, execution, and facilitation of HR policies, programs, and practices.
Conducts complex analysis of employee and business unit performance to help determine progress toward established goals and objectives.
Serves as the key influencer of positive employee engagement and advancing organizational culture through effective communications, policies, practices and teamwork.
Mentors less experienced peers, consistently demonstrates exemplary leadership, serves as a catalyst for transformation and inspires the team to higher performance.Education: Typically master of education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Accredited HR certification preferred.Experience: Typically 5-7 years of experience without master degree or 3 or more years of related experience with master degree.Supervisory: No.Our Principal HR Business Partner earn between 130,700.00 - 196,100.00 USD Annual.
