About the Job
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Lead Engineer with hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining high-performance software solutions. This role is focused on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning (FP) and TIBCO Streambase products. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in C, C++, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Unix and Python, along with deep knowledge of TIBCO Kabira, TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning, and TIBCO Streambase products
Key Responsibilities:
Product Maintenance and Enhancement:
- Maintain and enhance the existing features of the TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning and TIBCO Streambase products.
- Develop new features and functionalities to align with customer needs and market trends.
- Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the software.
Customer Support and Issue Resolution:
- Provide technical support to customers by investigating and resolving product issues in a timely manner.
- Deliver patches and fixes to ensure the smooth operation of customer environments.
- Collaborate with the support team to address critical escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Technical Development:
- Write, review, and optimize code in Java, C++, Python, and C for product development and enhancement.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for product deployment and scalability.
- Leverage Unix-based systems for development, debugging, and deployment.
Collaboration and Mentorship:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in relevant technologies and integrate them into the product as appropriate.
- Drive initiatives for process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance productivity and product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience, with a focus on enterprise-grade systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Java, C++, C, Python, Unix, Docker, Transaction Management and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience with TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning, TIBCO Streambase, and TIBCO Kabira.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and scalable system design.
- Proven track record of delivering fixes, patches, and updates for complex software products.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in telecom or other industries involving provisioning workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies and distributed systems.
- Prior experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $156,986-$196,233 CA generally ranges; $163,812-$204,765 All other locations fall under our General State range; $136,510-$170,638 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work.
