About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boston.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating complex electrical system designs and contributing to various aspects of our projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign complex electrical systems, including master system plans, power systems, and sustainability/renewable energy systemsExecute electrical design assignments using standard techniques and prescribed methodsPerform power system studies and electrical calculations for various systemsConduct site reviews to ensure designs align with location specificationsCollaborate with sales staff to create proposals and meet with clientsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staffContribute to the firm's knowledge management by developing white papers and technical documentationAttend conferences and industry events to enhance the firm's visibilityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredMinimum 7 years of related experienceExpert knowledge of CADD 3D and 4D softwareAdvanced knowledge of electrical design systems and calculationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of federal, state, and local electrical regulationsExperience with power generation equipment and componentsFamiliarity with electrical codes and safety standardsAdditional Information10% travel may be required, both domestic and internationalAbility to work effectively in a dynamic environment across all levelsIf you are passionate about electrical engineering, enjoy complex problem-solving, and have a strong background in design and analysis, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position.Oscar Associates Limited (US) is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
