Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer - Cyber Tools Specialist (24-478) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. Position Overview: The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities. Essential Functions: * This position is responsible for developing and implementing Cyber TPs in the NT labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Ops. * Installing, deploying, and unit testing Cyber Products, for example:
* CyberArk * HBSS * ACAS * ArcSight * MFA * BigFix * Endgame * KMS * And others * Providing redlines to COS engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be required as part of position responsibilities. * Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will also be required in daily tasks. * The Cyber Tools Specialist will support the Cyber Tools team as part of the Platform and Infrastructure (P&I) ART.
Basic Qualifications: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. * An active Secret clearance is required to start * Bachelor's degree in an engineering, computer science, mathematics discipline, or related field with 5 years experience; Master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related discipline with 3 years experience or 9 years experience instead of a degree * DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) is required at the start * Technical troubleshooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation * Must have a working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs. * Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and DoD information assurance system certification is required * Requires hands-on experience utilizing patch management, scanning and auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security, and multi-factor tools in an integrated lab environment * Excellent technical document preparation skills and verbal communication are required for presenting technical Cyber issues and reports to Agile Release Train (ART) leadership
Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Agile Lifecycle utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
