Role Overview:
As a Principal Analyst with our dynamic Credit Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of consumer credit. We're seeking a talented individual to join our geographically diverse team, headquartered in Richmond, VA, but with team members located across the country. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on initiatives that touch every aspect of our business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and create pathways to customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customer-level lifetime value (LTV) models to optimize product offerings.
- Refine acquisition and account management strategies based on data-driven insights and market trends.
- Drive financial strategies aimed at improving credit risk and profitability while fostering company growth.
- Conduct market tests to gain deeper insights into customer behavior and inform future growth strategies.
- Collaborate with product, data science, engineering, and capital markets teams to bring innovative solutions to market.
- Effectively communicate strategies and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to frame questions, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis.
- 2-4 years of experience in a highly analytical role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with a strong academic record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in analytical work within the credit card or consumer lending industry.
- Track record of contributing to business growth in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Expertise in SQL or Python.
