Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant.
As a Techno domain Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the technology and domain consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training, and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or this position will require you to work out of client locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in leading large teams across broad technical, financial, and business disciplines.
• Experience in creating Enterprise Architecture Governance and Guidelines.
• Good understanding of UML Design Tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in Application Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Apache Camel.
• At least 7 years of experience in UML Design Tools.
• Good Experience in Web Framework: JavaScript, ReactJS, Backbone.
• Sound Knowledge of Software engineering design patterns and practices.
• Strong understanding of Functional programming, basic data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in Banking and Finance domain.
• Expertise in technology architecture and design of trading systems and the related data management.
• Should have experience on Middle office and back-office operations.
• Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Coordination skills.
• Should have worked to gather detailed, specific, business requirements and functional specifications along with application architecture and design.
• Should have Developed strategy, approach, and scenarios for the E2E test phases and execute E2E business capability test for the enterprise projects.
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written & verbal communication, ability to multitask, work well under demanding situations, prioritize and meet deadlines.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
