Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
- Develop and execute long-term IT infrastructure strategies, roadmaps, and investment plans to support business objectives and growth initiatives.

Architectural Design and Implementation:
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure IT solutions that align with business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Lead the implementation and deployment of new technologies, platforms, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

System Administration and Optimization:
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the organization's IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
- Implement advanced system configuration, tuning, and optimization techniques to maximize system performance and resource utilization.

Security Management and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to protect IT systems, data, and infrastructure from security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies through regular audits and assessments.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure resilience of critical IT systems and services.
- Conduct regular testing, simulations, and drills to validate recovery procedures and identify areas for improvement.

Vendor Management and Partnerships:
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure optimal service levels and value for the organization.
- Collaborate with strategic partners and industry experts to evaluate emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Team Development and Mentoring:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and development.
- Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption among team members to enhance overall team effectiveness and performance.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) are preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in system administration roles, with a track record of leadership and achievement in managing complex IT infrastructures.

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in administering and managing enterprise-level IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, backup and recovery solutions, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation, system management, and orchestration.
