**Summary of Experience**
- 10-15 years of professional industry experience with software development, platform management and operations.
- 5 years of managing systems of all sizes and complexities, including large systems.
- 3-5 years of leading or managing small technical teams with operational responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Strong working knowledge of SOA and Micro Service frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and No-SQL Platforms.
- Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning and relevant tooling
- Strong working knowledge of Cassandra, Apache Spark, Kafka,
- Experience using one of the public cloud (AWS or Azure preferred) for big data applications
- Proficiency in shell scripting
- Strong working knowledge of Java or Scala
- Strong working knowledge of SQL
- Solid understanding of data design patterns and best practices
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Docker etc.
- Proficiency in logging and monitoring tools, patterns & implementations
- Understanding of enterprise security, REST / SOAP services, best practices around enterprise deployments.
- Effective communication skills
- Willing to collaborate and team player
- Willingness to learn and stay abreast with industry trends
- Excel at problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability and desire to mentor others in a team environment
- Experience with agile and DevOps culture
- Proven ability and desire to mentor/coach others in a team environment
- Provide technical leadership in support of technical tool selection
