Geisinger is seeking Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and/or Geriatric physicians for an exciting Primary Care opportunity with Geisinger 65 Forward Buckhorn in Bloomsburg, PA.
Job Duties
Join an established practice! The Buckhorn Office Building is only 8 minutes from Bloomsburg University and 8 miles from Geisinger Medical Center.

+ More time with patients. Up to 60 minutes with patients to answer questions and address concerns.
+ Easier and frequent appointments. Because we specialize in healthcare just for seniors, we’re able to see them more often.
+ Smaller patient panel. Max patient panel threshold of 500 per physician.
+ Interdisciplinary team. Includes nursing, care coordinator/coach, social worker, receptionist, nutritionist, administrator and wellness coordinator.
+ Support for patients. From group ceramics to rummy card games, our centers offer a slew of fun activities to meet both old friends and new.
We take pride in the support we provide our physicians:
+ Compensation – 'New’ base salary starting at $320k
+ Up to $250k recruitment incentives
+ Fellowship stipend - up to 45k; available up to 18 months prior to graduation, paid in lump sum
+ Continuing medical education – 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
+ Fully paid relocation
+ 401k – Geisinger contributes over $15k annually
+ Academic involvement with medical students and residents
