Experienced F/T Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, (Lincolnwood/Skokie)
Our client, a busy and fast-growing Non-For-Profit Federally Qualified Healthcare Center located on the far North side of Chicago near the Lincolnwood/Skokie area, is looking to hire a direct-hire, full-time Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with both adult and pediatric patient expertise.

Full-Time Hours may vary including evenings and weekends. On-call on rotation shared with other providers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing primary care to both adults and children in a primary healthcare clinic.
Guide and assist in all aspects of primary care medicine including:
- Preventative Medical Care, Psychosocial Needs, Acute Medical Care, Diagnostics
- Treatment, Consultation, and Patient Education
Independently perform the following:
- Age-appropriate history and physical patient exams including acute and chronic illnesses.
- Recognize critical illness and notify the appropriate entities.
- Collaborate with supervising physician as needed.
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
- Implement interventions in attempts at restoring the patient’s desired physiologic status.
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
Investigates clinical problems and offers sound medical solutions.
- Communicates effectively with other healthcare team members, patients, and family.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a primary care clinic providing care for both adults and children.
- Primary Care of Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
- Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience is preferred.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
- Current Illinois Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Certification in Family Medicine is preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school (PA, NP).
- Current provider card in CPR.
