Primary Care Pediatrician (Lincolnwood/Skokie)
Our client a busy and fast-growing Non-For-Profit Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) located on the far north side of Chicago near the Lincolnwood/Skokie area if looking to hire a direct hire full-time Primary Care Pediatrician.

Job Responsibilities
- Enter patient into the healthcare system, either at the main primary care clinic, homes or community shelters, or the hospitals where the Pediatrician has admitting privileges by assessing the primary healthcare needs, including obtaining comprehensive health histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and/or performing pertinent diagnostic tests, analyzing collected data to determine client health status and formulating a problem list (diagnosis.)
- Provides coordinated, continuous, primary health care to patients that span the health continuum through mutual goal setting and planning delivery of care.
- Prescribes a variety of treatment modalities to meet health and illness needs.
- Collaborates with mid-level providers and community health nurses to ensure that health education and counseling are provided.
- Manages and evaluates the plan of care, process, and outcome and then modifies the plan as needed.
- Assures access and continuity of care by providing call for after-hours coverage. Assures continuity by obtaining hospital privileges at designated hospitals and by making home visits when appropriate.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Active Illinois physician licensure.
- Controlled Substance License, DEA, board certification in pediatrics (must be completed within two years of employment).
- Documentation of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Documentation of residency completion in pediatrics from an accredited residency program and Physician National Data Bank verification of legal claims history.
