Job Summary:
The Pricing Support Analyst I will work within the Rates and Tariffs Department to support all Divisions of Cowan. The Pricing Support Analyst I will be responsible for auditing daily system maintenance reports, accurately entering new/updated rates to automate pricing and work service tickets regarding rate discrepancies found by other Admin Departments. The Pricing Support Analyst I will also be responsible for keeping record of customer documentation, validating locations, updating customer mileage and communicating effectively with customers and sales.
The Pricing Support Analyst I will receive 6 to 8 weeks of instruction, training, and practice. This Analyst will gain a comprehensive understanding of the different applications used within Cowan’s software, including mileage programs, operational reporting tools, indexing programs and ticketing software.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8AM-4:30PM
Essential Job Functions:
- Complete daily company reporting and auditing
- Manage auditing report priorities and workload responsibilities
- Retain procedural information with note taking skills
- Setup and maintain contracted rates within the tariff application software
- Provide customer support for rate pricing and discrepancies
- Communicate directly with customers regarding setup and contract agreements
- Work directly with the Sales, Operations, Billing and Accounts Receivable Department
- Support Billing team by acting as back up, if needed
- Collaborate with management on special assignments as requested
- Answer and maintain email organization within the shared inbox
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word)
- Ability to work successfully and professionally in a team environment
- Self-motivated and focused to complete tasks with limited supervision and instruction
- Strong organizational and time management skills—able to meet daily/weekly goals
- Detail oriented, accurate and possesses analytical capabilities
- High level of interpersonal communication skills—oral and written
- Effective at demonstrating good judgment and initiative to make sound business decisions based on multiple data sources
- Hard working, reliable, and personable
- High School diploma required
