POSITION PURPOSE
As part of Marketing Programs, the Pricing Analyst will use data analysis skills to help BAC achieve its business goals. This includes the collection and interpretation of pricing and compensation information that will help BAC’s management better understand our sales performance, price realization, and BAC’s competitive position. The Pricing Analyst will also manage the price approval process used by the sales team. Additionally, the Pricing Analyst will identify system improvement opportunities and lead the successful implementation of enhancement projects to drive growth for BAC.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop a process to periodically review and update both Unit and Part pricing to ensure pricing is accurate and positioned for maximum profitability.
- Implement price increases in both SAP and PeopleSoft, including testing in non-production environments, and effectively communicating changes to our sales force.
- Create and maintain separate key account price lists using net pricing for OEM, Joint Venture, Licensee, and Intercompany accounts.
- Maintain currency exchange rates in all front-end systems and publish updated values to our sales force.
- Manage the commissions process to confirm payment accuracy, apply manual commission overrides, update Paid and Pending commission reports, and promptly respond to any inquiries from our sales force.
- Maintain the pricing approval level tables in CPQ to assign requests to the proper managers, and participate in high-level approvals where applicable.
- Initiate, develop and execute programs to support execution of BAC strategies and to deliver profitable growth across all channels and locations.
- Compile business needs using strong collaboration skills, thoroughly test prototype systems, and document processes for future training, audit, and archive purposes.
- Create clear, concise, and effective technical specifications for software and process development that drive business improvements to add strategic and customer value.
- Drive accountability and efficient execution of pricing and compensation initiatives toward the achievement of BAC strategic objectives. Ensure transparency to both progress and challenges by developing and overseeing impactful, effective, high-quality dashboards.
- Enable employees, channels, stakeholders and customers to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively by identifying waste and opportunities to innovate, related to the sales process and pricing.
- Serve as liaison to IT, ensuring that the needs of the business are effectively understood, prioritized and communicated.
- Serve as a key contributor to system implementations including CRM, CPQ, Commissions Management, Learning Management Systems, public website & embedded tools, document management system and other applications.
- Ensure investments in business systems are fully leveraged by ensuring that employees are utilizing them properly and to their fullest extent. Identify areas where key technology gaps exist and propose solutions to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Develop key metrics for stakeholders to effectively manage areas such as sales volume, price, quality, delivery, and customer experience.

NATURE AND SCOPE
The Pricing Analyst will report to the Program Manager. As part of the Marketing Department, the Pricing Analyst will have frequent interaction with Marketing, Sales, Global Marketing, and IT department members. The Pricing Analyst will not have any direct reports.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science, economics, statistics, mathematics, etc.)
- 1-2 years of business analytics experience, working on projects and programs in a B2B environment.
- Good program and project management skills, including proficiency with MS O365 applications.
- Good written and oral communications skills in business and technical writing styles.
- Excellent data management, analysis and visualization skills, with the ability to simplify the complex.
- Ability to interpret computer code to understand logic and flow of programs.
- Ability to plan and manage work at both the strategic and tactical levels of the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a fast-paced, results-driven organization
- Ability to consult with internal clients to determine project objectives, design appropriate methodology.
- Ability to effectively multitask and manage resources and timelines for many projects at once.
- Ability to synthesize, manipulate and analyze large & disperse data sources to holistically answer business questions.
- Ability to understand and add value to management interactions, with an ability to develop and justify programs.
- Ability to understand our strategic objectives and train and develop others toward successful achievement.

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $50,300 - $86,300.
