PRESIDENT / GENERAL MANAGER (On-site | Appleton, WI)

Overview:

Aegis Alarm & Safety Solutions, LLC is the newest entity under Sentinel Safety & Security in Appleton, WI. We are seeking a passionate and experienced fire alarm systems leader to join our organization as the President / General Manager to lead this new endeavor.

Aegis Alarm & Safety Solutions offers new installation and service for fire alarms, fire extinguishers, pre-action/suppression, 24-hour monitoring, and exit lighting. Aegis will work closely with its sister companies Fireline Sprinkler and Integrity Fire Protection. For the past three years, Sentinel’s companies have ranked #4 in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) top 20 firms in fire protection and sprinklers.

President / General Manager Responsibilities:

The fire alarm systems President / General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s operations for this new entity including, but not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, sales, and financial functions.
• Developing a strategic plan for optimized productivity.
• Manage the profit and loss (P&L) to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and safety standards.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining budgetary and resource allocation plans.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and training high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share.
• Setting performance goals and ensuring their completion.
• Carrying out all policies, procedures, training programs, and cultural values.
• Other duties as assigned.

President / General Manager Qualifications:

A successful fire alarm systems leader will possess:

• Experience in fire alarm systems, fire extinguisher, monitoring, and/or suppression systems.
• 5 years of management experience, specifically with personnel management and proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
• Technical knowledge of pre-action detection, foam systems, aqua mist, quell, and other special hazard systems preferred.
• Excellent personnel management with the ability to motivate, collaborate, and lead employees.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent preferred.
• NICET certifications preferred.
