Preschool Teacher at Sunshine Preschool #2

We are in search of a teacher a Pre-School Teacher who will have her own classroom but feel comfortable working with children aged 18 months to 5 years old. This is a temp to permananet position, we are looking for Summer Staff that could possibly turn into a full time position.

Job description includes, but is not limited to:

• Demonstrates knowledge and application of Early Childhood Education theories, especially as they apply to the preschool program’s target population.
• Provide a high quality classroom environment.
• Demonstrates positive professional interactions with children.
• Supports family involvement.
• Promotes and implements health and safety practices.
• Demonstrates clear written and oral communication skills; and effective organization and time management skills.
• Works cooperatively with colleagues, administrators and staff and engages in professional behavior and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Director

Required information

• At least 12 Early Childhood Education Units
• 2 or more years of experience working with pre-school aged children
• Must successfully pass all required background screenings
• Must have a valid CA Driver’s License
• Prefer bi-lingual English/Spanish
