We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Surprise, AZ. The ideal Special Education Teacher will possess strong communication and critical thinking skills, along with a deep passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique abilities and challenges. Your duties will include adapting curriculum materials, providing direct instruction, and using a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including general education teachers, parents, and other support staff, to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Your ability to build positive relationships with students, advocate for their needs, and differentiate instruction to ensure all students can succeed will be essential in fostering academic growth and social development in your classroom.

Job Requirements:

• 2 Years experience: Must have background working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education
• Valid Arizona Early Childhood Special Education Certificate; Valid CPI Training Certificate
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Possess a negative Mantoux TB Skin Test administered within 12 months of hire date or a health care provider's written and dated statement stating incumbent is free from infectious active TB issued within 6 months of hire date
• Possess and maintain a valid Food Handler's card
• Possess and maintain a valid First Aid/CPR card
• Early education certificate on ADE license
