About the Job
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, healthy and inspiring learning environment for children according to Title 22, NAEYC Best Practices, and California Common Core Standards
- Collaborate a balanced curriculum to meet the needs of the whole child and all the school readiness requirements.
- Communicate effectively to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, co-workers and the community.
- Communicate with Teachers daily to share each child's latest achievements and weaknesses.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DRDPs, ECERS, CLASS, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten subjects.
- Knowledge of current child development theory and practices.
- Openness to learning and collaboration with public school teachers to assist with homework assignments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
