Summary: Responsible for the daily preparation of food items used in each cooking station.
Job Type: Full time, Part time
Compensation: $18.50 - $21.50 (City of Seattle - $19.97 - 21.50)
Benefits:
• Paid time off, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked up to year 3; 1.54 hours per every 40 hours worked thereafter; eligible after 90 days.
• Holiday Pay: Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day paid 1.5 times base wage if worked (Eligible after 3 years of service)

We’re in search of an enthusiastic and dependable team player to join our 13 Coins family as a Lead Prep Cook. 13 Coins is an iconic establishment that has been serving the greater Seattle area for 50+ years. We are an upscale restaurant, featuring a wide variety of menu items that are prepared in our exhibition-style kitchen. Responsibilities:
- Prepare prep area to achieve production of multiple recipes simultaneously as directed by Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Prepare all recipes, portion controls and presentation as directed in a and timely manner
- Restock all items as needed throughout the shift
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of prep kitchen, walk in coolers and storage areas
- Support the Kitchen Manager in achieving food cost goals
- Perform additional responsibilities, although not as detailed, as requested by manager at any time
