Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients accurately and efficiently following specified recipes and portion sizes.
- Assist in cooking various menu items such as sauces, soups, and salads.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Organize and stock ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely preparation and service of meals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment preferred.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality.
- Time management skills to work efficiently during peak service hours.
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
- Desirable to have a valid food handler's permit or certification.
