Premium Auditor Objective
To complete, review, evaluate, approve, and process mail, phone, and physical audits across multiple lines of business. To provide direct customer service to Farm Bureau agents and insureds. To answer field inquiries and assist customers throughout entire audit lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Premium Auditor Responsibilities
Complete audits through review of insured’s business operations and financial records including payroll reports, tax returns, ledgers, and other financial documents.
Assign appropriate classifications and determine proper audit remuneration following company and industry-standard rules and regulations.
Review completed vendor audits for accuracy, assignment of proper classification, and remuneration.
Communicate significant changes of operations, risk exposure, ownership, and classifications to Underwriting and Agents.
Serve as a contact for agents, insureds, underwriters, and customer service representatives providing prompt, accurate, and friendly service.
Assist with training and education of internal and external customers.
Serve as a resource on corporate and departmental projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:Premium Auditor Qualifications
Required
Associate’s degree required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
One to three years of experience working in commercial or agricultural insurance required.
Associate in Premium Auditing (APA) designation required, or completion within 36 months of hire.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Continuing industry-related education preferred.
