Premier Medical Group is adding an NP/PA for Private Practice in Poughkeepsie, NY - MDVIP, LLC

Premier Medical is a group of physician owned and physician led practices that serve Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, Kingston, Newburgh and New Windsor.

Multiple locations provide patients with options to receive the specialty care they deserve from providers they can trust.

PMG has an opening for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join this team of exceptional providers and specialists in Poughkeepsie, NY. If you are innovative, compassionate, and committed to patient centered care, this maybe the opportunity you are looking for.

Duties include, but not limited to:

- Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a doctor
- Performing physical examinations and take detailed medical histories
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Prescribing medications and develop treatment plans for patients
- Managing data using electronic medical record systems

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited physician assistant/nurse practitioner program
- Current state licensure as a physician assistant/nurse practitioner
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for data management
