We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a leading construction company. The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for managing all preconstruction activities for various commercial construction projects. This includes overseeing the planning, estimating, and contract management processes, as well as managing risks and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all preconstruction activities including planning, estimating, scheduling, and risk management.
2. Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into the project plans.
3. Review and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to create accurate and competitive project estimates.
4. Proactively identify and manage project risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
5. Oversee the preparation and negotiation of construction contracts, ensuring all agreements align with project goals and comply with industry regulations.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance project outcomes.
7. Provide leadership and guidance to preconstruction teams, promoting a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years in a preconstruction management role.
2. Proven expertise in preconstruction planning, project estimation, contract management, and risk management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices, including blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents.
4. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and delivering high-quality construction projects.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality.
7. Proficiency in construction software and technology tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), are highly desirable.
10. Willingness to travel as required to support project needs.
