The Regional Precision Ag Lead, as part of the Precision Agronomy team, is
responsible for driving the value potential from precision ag services and
associated indirect product sales. Acting as a direct conduit from Agronomy
& Environmental Science and Digital teams to the field for training,
testing new solutions and identifying new opportunities. Coordination across
divisions within your regions and sharing best practice at a North American
level to maximize the value our scale and leveraging strengths of proven
precision ag solutions. As a member of Nutrien Ag Solutions' team, you
will be responsible for promoting a culture of care, inclusion, coaching
and fostering cross functional collaborative working across North America.
What you will do:
Communicate and promote our Precision Ag strategy and adoption tactics
Assist the Precision Ag Sr Manager in creating and maintaining relationships
with internal business stakeholders who currently interact with precision ag
services. Seek to expand the precision ag footprint within the regional and
grow the value created for our field and growers.
Coordinate cross functionally with the Regional Agronomy Managers, Digital
Agronomists and Innovation Farm network to align messages, training and
technical support to the field.
Provide feedback to internal digital agronomy product development teams and
external parties regarding business needs and priorities
Work closely with external integration partners (e.g. JD, Raven, Climate
etc.) to manage and align business strategies and implementation practices
Create and assist marketing team with development of materials, resources
and media to promote understanding and value of precision ag services.
Work with business stakeholders to ensure the value of precision ag services
are accurately captured and measured by providing pricing, administrative
and product positioning guidance.

What you will bring:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in agronomy; experience may be
considered in lieu of education.
6+ years of related experience required, preferably in Retail agricultural
industry
Demonstrated track record (2yr+) of influence without authority (e.g.
program or project management)
Precision ag software and hardware knowledge
Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision ag practices,
technology and supporting agronomic principles
Experience in marketing and positioning precision ag services for maximum
alue capture for a crop input retail business
Understanding and knowledge of various roles at a retail branch level and how
they interact with precision ag technology
Experience in precision ag technology, support and sales an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Bring a passion for innovation
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form to explain and
encourage the benefits and value of precision farming
Able to speak in front of large groups
Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:$106,800 - $146,000. Actual salary and benefits may
differ based upon location.

addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save
