Job Overview: Our top client in the Indianapolis market is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be the primary representative of their company, delivering exceptional service to our customers while driving project success from inception to completion. As a proactive leader, you will foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee project intelligence, risk assessment, contracts, scheduling, and quality control throughout the precast construction process. Manage project teams and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders.

Project Planning: Analyze bid documents and construction drawings to identify potential risks. Organize internal and external meetings early in the design stage to enhance efficiency.

Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project schedules with critical milestones. Engage with customers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.

Reporting: Provide weekly status updates to the General Manager, reporting project risks and performance indicators such as profits and efficiency.

Contract Administration: Handle project contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance and negotiating terms to minimize risks. Manage change orders and maintain comprehensive logs.

Billing & Collections: Collaborate with the Contract Administrator to ensure accurate and timely billing. Maintain good standing in project collections.

Customer Relations: Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience and high-quality service. Document and manage all external communications.

Project Closeout: Facilitate the completion of projects, managing punch lists and final acceptance. Organize post-project reviews to identify successes and improvement areas.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial construction, preferably in precast.
- Strong understanding of construction documents and ability to interpret shop drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Tekla, or Trimble products.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor to represent the company effectively.
