Join our dynamic team where innovation and collaboration converge to empower impactful missions! We're currently seeking a skilled Pre-sales Solutions Architect (SSA) for the Eastern North America Region to partner with our Account Executives in driving growth within the Enterprise space.
In this role, you'll forge strong customer relationships alongside our sales team, guiding them to mitigate risk and select optimal applications from the Qualys TruRisk platform. As a Pre-sales SSA, you'll leverage your profound technical expertise in cybersecurity products and threats to assist customers in measuring, communicating, and mitigating risks within their environments.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Qualys sellers to support complex deals in the pre-sales phase, taking charge of technical engagements and ensuring technical success.
Understand and articulate customers' compliance and security needs, devising comprehensive solutions using the Qualys TruRisk Platform and partner integrations.
Identify new use cases for the Qualys TruRisk platform, bridging technical and business value gaps, and showcasing solutions effectively.
Cultivate trusted advisory relationships with customer technical decision-makers, providing valuable insights and feedback to product management teams.
Engage with new prospects, leading technical wins for new opportunities and delivering various technical engagements.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the Qualys portfolio and broader security and compliance landscape.
Assist in field sales training and contribute to industry events through blogs, white papers, and solution guides.
This is a hands-on role with a technical focus, involving regular travel to customer sites (approximately 30% post-COVID restrictions).
Required Skills:
Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to leveraging technology for solving security and compliance challenges.
Experience with Qualys or similar security and compliance platforms in technical roles.
Proficiency in designing complex architectures to address security and compliance issues comprehensively.
Knowledge of popular public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, and Azure (certification a plus).
Familiarity with industry compliance standards and frameworks.
Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles, ideally in sales or consulting capacities.
