Pre-Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury - Warnock MacKinlay Law PLLC

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of the legal process surrounding personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the pre-litigation process of personal injury cases for the first 30-60 days after intake. Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Entering data from medical records, court documents, and other sources into our database;
• Working with clients to gather all necessary documents and information for their case;
• Gathering initial medical bills and records;
• Obtaining police reports, 911 tapes, body cam footage, etc.;
• Assisting clients with property damage claims (i.e. total loss, repairs, diminished value, loss of use, etc.);
• Assisting clients with coordinating medical treatment;
• Assessing viability of client claims after 30-60 days;
• Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• Meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work; and
• Communicating effectively with other team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal;
• Knowledge of relevant legal procedures and best practices;
• Hard-working, problem solver, and independent;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Proficiency in data entry;
• Ability to type quickly and accurately;
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail;
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, G-Suite, and case management software;
• Proficient in using technology.
