Job Details
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial case evaluations to determine the viability of potential claims.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the entire legal process.
- Investigate claims by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and consulting with experts as needed.
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Prepare and represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with internal team members, including paralegals and support staff, to ensure efficient case management and client communication.
- Stay current with changes in personal injury law and legal precedents through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and client confidentiality in all interactions and representations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Experience with case management software and legal technology preferred.
