We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Construction Manager to join our team. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing project planning, cost estimation, value engineering, and scheduling during the critical pre-construction phase. Your expertise will ensure projects are accurately planned and financially sound before moving into the build phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-construction efforts, including budgeting, estimating, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal teams to define project scopes and budgets.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Work with subcontractors and vendors to gather pricing and ensure competitive bid packages.
• Develop realistic project schedules, identifying milestones and ensuring timelines are met.
• Provide input on materials, construction methods, and design to improve project outcomes.
• Engage with clients to understand their goals and offer strategic, value-added solutions.
• Assist in contract development and negotiation to align pre-construction efforts with client objectives.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to maintain competitive pricing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or construction management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Strong track record in cost estimating, budgeting, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• You may have also held these job titles in the past: Estimator, Senior Estimator, Pre Construction Manager, etc.
