Practice Nurse- Oncology Practice

The Oncology Practice Nurse provides primary care nursing support, patient interventions and treatment within the Cancer Center. The Practice Nurse works closely with the doctors and other team members to provide efficient, effective professional nursing services. Oncology practice nurse will be responsible for accessing ports, phone triage, oncology based symptom management and education. As part of the General Practice team, the nurse must work within scope of practice and be responsible for providing patient-centered, culturally appropriate and individual holistic care to patients. Chemo/bio certificate preferred. BSN preferred, BLS required.
