Description
The Practice Manager is a full-time position which reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The primary responsibility of the position is to manage day to day operations of the medical billing business.

The Practice Manager is a full-time position which reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The primary responsibility of the position is to manage day to day operations of the medical billing business.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct 20+ team members
- Lead the recruiting, hiring, and training activities
- Manage payer credentialing.
- Manage employee relations
- Monitor, analyze and adjust billing operations to support maximum allowed billing
- Monitor, analyze and adjust collection operations to support maximum allowed collections
- Analyze and recommend adjustments to practice operations to support maximum allowed billing
- Analyze contracts and determine appropriate network status as well as negotiation of contracts
- Manage client relationships and support onboarding new clients
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance providers
- Manage vendor relations
- Support company accounting and finance activities including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Other assigned responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
- 5+ years' experience managing billing and payer credentialing teams.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software
- Proven experience in healthcare billing
- Sound knowledge of health insurance providers
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions
- Prior management experience
