Job Description:
As a Practice Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys in our Trust and Estates practice group. You will assist with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the practice group and excellent client service. This position is 2 days onsite 3 days remote per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with drafting and editing legal documents related to trusts, wills, and estates
- Manage and maintain client files, including organizing documents and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings and appointments for attorneys with clients and other professionals
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies
- Communicate with clients and other parties to gather information and provide updates on case status
- Perform research on legal issues related to Trust and Estates law
- Handle billing and invoicing for the practice group
