SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer

for its client in Hartford, CT. The person will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components for cutting-edge ground-mobility powertrain system applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards while optimizing manufacturing efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for ground-mobility powersource products.

·Conduct engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and fatigue assessments, to validate designs.

·Create detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software.

·Lead and champion R&D work in support of pertinent company technology planning, collaborating with other engineers and teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

·Assist in prototype planning, development, testing, and evaluation to verify design integrity.

·Investigate and resolve engineering issues in manufacturing or field applications.

·Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and weight reduction.

·Maintain documentation and participate in design reviews to ensure project alignment with company goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the mobility industry.

·Knowledge of powersource materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.

·Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in ground mobility powersource manufacturing.

·Familiarity with additive manufacturing and advanced materials.

·Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
