About the Job
NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please.). The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen and have an active secret clearance (preferred) OR able to qualify/hold a secret clearance. This is a remote opportunity with future possibility of becoming hybrid - candidate must be in local to the DC/MD/VA area (Arlington VA).
- Assist in the design, build, and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This includes building a standalone application using Power Pages to capture data and save using Dataverse.
- Assist in development, customization, and integration of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
- Assist in development and update of custom Power BI Dashboards, automate business processes, develop, and keep a user story backlog.
- Extend PowerApps Pages functionality with Dataverse integration and custom code.
- Collaborate with client/business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Assist in managing and perform SharePoint site creation, administration, and site governance while maintaining up to date documentation.
- Assist in the transition of legacy applications (Java, .NET, etc.) to Power Apps and Power platforms and develop replacement applications.
- Create custom SharePoint Pages
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for developed solutions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen as mandated by our government client.
- Must have an active secret clearance (preferred) OR able to qualify/hold a secret clearance.
- Must be local to the DC/MD/VA metro area, no convenience travel.
- 4 years’ experience primarily with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI) and SharePoint.
- Proficiency in a minimum of one modern programming language (i.e. C#, C, JSON, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.).
- Experience as the primary party responsible for hands-on work and policy regarding data security and access controls in SharePoint.
- Experience developing, integrating, and deploying custom PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI solutions.
- Understanding of the creation and configuration of PowerApps and their limitations
- Understanding of data modeling, data visualization design, relational databases, data security concepts, and SQL.
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline. Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree.
